Slept from 10 to 4, then a quick feed and slept through till 8: if the concept of beauty sleep really is true, then I must be very beautiful indeed!
Had an appointment with my new baby specialist osteopath today. She said that I was in excellent condition for a baby who’d had my kind of arrival into the world: it seems I’m really doing well on many levels in my first couple of weeks on the planet…if you missed the subtle implications contained in my initial description, allow me to elucidate somewhat: I had to fight a fair bit to enter the outside world as the cord thing was wrapped twice around my neck, leading to a necessarily swift exit after a long time…
…I was very well behaved while she examined me: I don’t feel the need many other babies seem to have, namely to cry long and loud for no reason: I’m sure Mum and Dad are happy about that.
Recently I’ve been finding a few things funny. I sometimes even smile for no apparent reason! Dad says I often have a smile on my face while I’m asleep, and when Mum’s talking to me I sometimes crack a smile out of the blue too.
I’m eating and sleeping a WHOLE LOT, and sleeping more during the day than I did just a few days ago. I’ve also gone up to 3.6kg! This is the confirmation of what Mum already knows: I’ve been just a tiny little bit greedy recently!
I received more presents today: a toy from Pablo, the little boy who lives upstairs, and a parcel from Opa Ecki, Mum’s Dad, including a couple of books, a long paper train with which to decorate my bedroom wall, and money to open my own bank account!
